Last night I had a weird dream. Probably because I have just got back from my first trip out of the country. Who knows…

Anyway, I dreamed I was lost in a foreign country and needed a guide to show me the way home. Someone said to me, “hey, you’re part Cherokee!” We have a guide that can help you. They introduced me to “Snow Falling From Cloud”. I hope I dream part II because she did help me find my way home after all. It was only a dream…

When all else fails…

Today, the BIG fat cat could not get attention in order to get his dinner early. He tried the usual rip papers apart, tear aluminum pans up, scratch the carpet, etc. When all else failed, he tried the least of all his attention-getters. He went into the kitchen and dragged all the throw rugs around and totally misplaced them. It was quit creative as a matter of fact. I’m thinking about leaving them that way just to see how he reacts… just kidding!

I just got my passport for the first time. Traveled to Cancun Mexico from May 1 to May 10, 2008! The photo above is Chichen Itza, the Mayan Pyramid! The next photo is the Cenote’. A very deep sing hole. I actually went all the way to the bottom. The other two photos are taken from the sky! It was a great trip and not what I was used to seeing. Before I started traveling, I’d only seen the US and not much of it. Meeting other people from different countries who do not speak english and their lifestyle, foods, are so different it’s incredible. The Mexicans taught me so much while I was there. I learned all about the great Myan people from a direct decendant!!! His name as he calls it is Willie! Go figure… He spoke 5 languages including Mayan. I got my name written on a pendant in Mayan! It’s gold and silver and one of my pride and joys of the trip. Flying over Mexico was an awesome experience!
