I just got my passport for the first time. Traveled to Cancun Mexico from May 1 to May 10, 2008! The photo above is Chichen Itza, the Mayan Pyramid! The next photo is the Cenote’. A very deep sing hole. I actually went all the way to the bottom. The other two photos are taken from the sky! It was a great trip and not what I was used to seeing. Before I started traveling, I’d only seen the US and not much of it. Meeting other people from different countries who do not speak english and their lifestyle, foods, are so different it’s incredible. The Mexicans taught me so much while I was there. I learned all about the great Myan people from a direct decendant!!! His name as he calls it is Willie! Go figure… He spoke 5 languages including Mayan. I got my name written on a pendant in Mayan! It’s gold and silver and one of my pride and joys of the trip. Flying over Mexico was an awesome experience!
