This story was inspired by the book Short Stories and Tall Tales and the short story The Librarian. It was then expanded into a Kindle Vella serial story. I wrote one short episode at a time; it was then titled The Reluctant Time Traveler. It wasn’t long before I knew the rest of the story needed to be told in Time Immortal, Maximus!
