Wow, I remember when Barbara Ann was born. What a day! We were taken to the hospital but because mom had so many babies, 7 at the time, we stood outside Clark County Memorial Hospital. I saw my mom looking out a window holding a new born from somewhere stories high in the sky.
When this little girl came home, she had brown hair, brown eyes and dark skin. Within a few weeks, she looked just like me!!! Blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. Since then, she had gone back to the dark hair, eyes and skin… oh well…
So be it for parents that have mixed blood in all the other recipes that make us all Americans. We adjust and blend. lol’s
