I am an independent author, I have learned all too well how much we struggle to write, edit and publish.
Getting reviews on Amazon is the one thing that keeps us going. One of the things we do is offer FREE book promos so we can get reviews.
I once had 642 downloads in only five days! Yet, I have never received any reviews from that book.
So, the moral of this story is, if someone offers a book FREE on Amazon, please take out the time to review it once you have read it. Constructive criticism is good and what is even more desired is to hear your feedback or review on how much you loved the story, etc.
