Life on Earth would soon take on a much different path than the course it had been on. It all began in Willowdale. That city had been renamed the City of Maximus for several hundred years after its new ruler took over. A particular building was encased to protect it for as long as life existed, and deep inside its heart, it was referred to as Central Core. Something was happening that could end life on Earth: it was a battle for time itself. The citizens of the city’s only hope for any future was in a secret place in a very old library, and in that secret place rested the Living Book of Aarin.
